Tokha Chandeshwori Hospital is a key government health institution located in the Tokha Municipality of the Kathmandu District, Bagmati Province. General Overview Location: Situated in Tokha Ward No. 2, the hospital is positioned at the base of the Shivapuri National Park area, serving a historically and culturally rich Newar community. Classification: It is recognized as a 25 beded Provincial Hospital (under the Bagmati Provincial Government), reflecting its expanded role from a primary health center to a more specialized facility. Administrative Context: The hospital is a central part of Tokha Municipality's health infrastructure, which also includes 11 Basic Health Service Centers.   Key Services & Features The hospital provides a range of essential and specialized medical services, often aimed at reducing the burden on major central hospitals in Kathmandu: Outpatient Department (OPD): General medical consultations, pediatric care, and orthopedic services.
